Los Premios MTV Latin America 2007
On October 18th, the Los Premios MTV Latin America 2007 was held in Mexico City at El Palacio De Los Deportes. Mana and Avril Lavigne were two of four artists tying for the top spot of the winners list. Mana took home “tongue” awards for the coveted Artist of the Year spot as well as Best Group or Duo. Lavigne’s “tongues” were for Best International Pop Artist and Song of the Year (“Girlfriend”). Babasonicos won Best Rock Artist while Wisin & Yandel took home the award for MTV Tr3s Best Urban Artist.
