Wisin & Yandel gave a stellar performance in Chile where the press proclaimed that the dynamic duo has "dethroned" Daddy Yankee with their stellar performance and sellout crowd. Yankee's earlier visit to the world-renown Viña del Mar Festival was a resounding success but this event eclipsed it. The duo arrived via helicopter and amid plenty of fireworks. Their playfully seductive lyrics, contagious beat and sexy dance moves had the crowd going completely wild. Sold out shows full of surprises are nothing new to the duo who have been dubbed ‘el duo de la historia’ (history’s duo) after more than a year of this kind of performances. Meanwhile, sales remain strong with their Pa’l Mundo album which remains in the top five of Billboard’s Hot Latin Album chart after debuting at the #1 slot 38 weeks ago. The hot duo has burned up the charts with eight songs charting in Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks in under a year. They had 5 songs simultaneously competing for the top spot for several weeks in a row. They also currently have their latest track, “Pam Pam” climbing the charts.
