UMPG Latin America currently has songs on each of the top five releases on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. This week, Don Omar’s King of Kings moves from number 2 to number 1 to knock off another of UMPG’s writers, Hector Bambino "el Father's" Los Rompe Discotekas, out of the top spot. Rounding out the top 5 is Marc Anthony’s Sigo Siendo Yo, Daddy Yankee’s Barrio Fino: En Directo and Wisin & Yandel's Pa’l Mundo.
On a related note, mega-producer Nely
contributes two charting singles to the Universal repertoire before the ink is even dry on his deal. “Dejale Caer To’ El Peso” (Yomo feat. Hector "el Father"
) and “No Quiere Novio” (Nejo feat. Tego Calderon) are both rapidly climbing Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks chart.
